XIOMARA ORTIZ

I am an artist and designer with a diverse background in the garment and textile industry. Since 2013, I have worked as a textile designer, specializing in print design for fashion and home brands. My experience also includes fashion design, fashion styling, and over nine seasons at New York Fashion Week as a design associate and stylist. Alongside my sister, Paula, I co-founded the design studio Xio & Paula. ​​Today I work with multiple fashion and home companies based in NYC creating original artworks and designs. ​​

My Colombian heritage influence my natural aesthetic, which is feminine, vibrant, and inspired by color. While I design with the market and target customer in mind, my process is intuitive and organic. I intend for my work to bring joy, beauty, and blessings to the clients who commission it, as well as to those who wear or live with the items I create!​​
